Re: Daily Prayer - August 18

Thanks for your prayers for my performance last night. About a third of the 120ish people there last night were either from Eric or his wife Flo's side of the family. All three of Eric's daughters were there as well as Flo's daughter from a later marriage. Flo's remaining brother and sister were also in attendance. Joyce heard the word Challenge, so I encouraged the audience to take Eric's inspiration to heart and give 100%, whatever that means for them. Pray that more Liddells will rise up to do great things for the Lord.

Tonight the family of David Michell will be in attendance. He wrote A Boy's War about his time in the internment camp with Eric Liddell. Pray they are honored and inspired as well. Last night happened to be the 61st anniversary of the liberation of the internment camp.

Please join me in prayer that Patricia, Eric's eldest daughter can make it there in time to give closing remarks. Heather (his middle daughter) closed brilliantly last night.
