Enacted prayer by its creator

The creator of enacted prayer, Jeff Barker, led his team in an enacted prayer that we'll be able to do enacted prayer for evacuees from New Orleans...

We prayed an enacted prayer today for the opening of the doors. We decided that the doors would likely be opened by some decision maker at the base, so we cast that decision maker in the prayer. (And that decision maker ended up being part of the first enacted prayer at the workshop!) And we cast both of you in the prayer too, and Carole [Buglewicz: the artistic director of And Beyond Theatre Co. She's in touch with the Salvation Army, and her contact has expressed interest], as she was preparing for Rich's visit, started dancing with God (without seeing God, of course) but this was a nice touch which indicated that our team members remembered my telling them that Carol had been praying dance prayers.

Blessings friends,

Jeff

In Christ alone,
Rich
